Flying-leap

Impromptu.....

.....on the spur of the moment I was with blipper JMK enjoying a quiet wander through a glade of daffodils.

It was hot, 21C with harsh rays of sunlight streaming through deciduous trees with daffodils gently nodding on a light breeze. It was heaven as bees buzzed by and monarch butterflies danced from bloom to bloom. I hadn't realized they liked the nectar of jonquils and daffodils, it was peaceful and ever so beautiful.

Although hard to capture with tall stems catching the light I had to blip this one as the monarch's proboscis is bright yellow, completely covered from nectar, I was fascinated to see this.

Fantails flitted and chirped, they were so excitable, it seemed all creatures were enjoying a beautiful spring day.

Thanks J for a wonderful time :)

Happy Father's Day to all dad's, hubby was in his element enjoying a day at the hangar :)

Happy Spring Sunday everyone :)
