Taking down the Christmas tree

Today we took down the Christmas tree, which was almost bald, it had shed most of its needles. Might be because we bought it as an Africa tree from the local church - the money goes to a project in Africa - hence the dryness, I suppose.

The Christmas decoration kiwi bird reminds us of our honeymoon to New Zeeland last October, sigh.
