Anne's Daily Encounters

Albanian Nights

From the near-by park I heard a clarinet and harmonica and drums; live music it was. So I went up there and found a big gathering of folks, young and old and from talking to them I learned they're the Albanian settlers here, who arrived some 25 years ago and celebrate Summer and August with their cultural and traditional party at the park.
These girls loved to pose for me in their Albanian folkore dresses.

Thank you all for reacting upon yesterday's ladies strolling colorful across Chania streets in golden light
