Tools picked back up

Part of the nightmare of the floor is that it holds a multitude of our wiring which needs to be tidied up before the floor can be started. Believe it or not this is after the tidying up process.
The second nightmare is that the cross beams in place are 6cm across, 3m in length and need to be hand-swan, taking about thirty minutes each of not so pleasurable work. 
I am currently on sawing-strike until a sabre saw I ordered ten days ago arrives. Last Thursday was when they said it was to be delivered, then it became Friday. Still no sign today.
