Prestongrange

Got my 10k steps plus in today walking to Tesco’s and back before then going to Prestongrange Heritage Museum which is only a few minutes from the house.

It’s such an interesting place to visit, particularly if you like industrial history (which part of my history degree covered). The industries that took place over the years included, coal mining, brick making, glass making as well as being a pottery ... a lot going on.

My blip is of the beam engine for the colliery, built in 1853.
