Today the weather is very pleasant, sunshine so far all day although rather windy.  I do hope it stays that way for the many tourists still around in Scotland...… but no guarantees.

We had Communion at church this morning, always a meaningful service, and after lunch we walked at the Heritage Loch for a bit, before going to get some salad greens to go with the evening meal.

This Greylag Goose had to be photographed, as he was posing beautifully after having done some preening.  These birds are presumed to be native to Scotland, although their numbers swell in wintertime with migrants coming in from Iceland.  The British birds have orange bills, while the European ones have pink bills.  (info from my Complete British Wildlife Book).

So there you have it.  Have a good Sunday!
