When you poke inside and through Cambridge college fences and gates, you can find some little treasures such as this scene at Magdalene College slap bang in the centre of the city next to the Cam.

I had brunch with Helen and Berry and their new daughter, who is very well-behaved and permits us the same frank discussions to which we’ve grown accustomed. As I feel stressed out by work at the moment I fear my outlook is taking on a negative slant and am looking for solutions.
