Not A Kitten

The woman from the Cat Rescue we were hoping to meet tonight can't make it and that means that Rani/Asha/Chaiya/Nisha doesn't get to come to us tonight.  And she might not make it tomorrow either.  

I'll blip the cat as soon as she settles in.

Cultural interlude - if a telephone number (or any number) contains a double zero my colleagues will often refer to it as "Toilette".  Say a telefone number ended 3300 (drei is the German for 3) my colleagues would say "drei drei Toilette".  And i would look at them rather askance.  "Toilette?" What - where does that come from then?

The reason they do this is because way back when when Hotel rooms weren't all en-suite, the toilet/bathroom for a floor was always room 00. I'm not entirely sure how this piece of information is any use to any of you but it I do like collecting trivia.

And yes, it was hot again.
