Carousel

Jill and I went to our 25th amusement park this year, Idlewild, which is about half an hour southeast of Pittsburgh. It opened in 1878 and is the third-oldest park in the country and oldest in the state. It was the ninth new park to me this year. It's a small park for children.

Only one roller coaster was open, Rollo Coaster, a 1938 kiddie wooden coaster. It was nice. We only got one ride on the coaster. We also rode Paratrooper, the adult hand carts, the carousel and Tilt-a-Whirl. We both had to work this afternoon, so it was a quick visit. We'll have to return next year.
