Anniversary Present

Today we left Ullapool for the long drive home.
Very wet day and lots of standing water on the roads.
It was particularly bad on the stretch of road from Drumnadrochit to Fort William.
After we left Oban the weather did improve and the journey from Oban to Campbeltown was so much better than the earlier part of our journey.
My image shows an early anniversary present to each other.
We decided to treat ourselves to one of Eleanor's paintings from her joint current exhibition with Joanna called Correspondences at the Ceilidh Place in Ullapool.
Eleanor is the founder of Bridge House Art and continues to be the director and principal tutor there.
