I love pumpkins. When I was little they were mostly pickled in Finland and I hated them. When I lived in Ireland my best friend was an American girl who later studied to become a vegetarian chef and she intoruced me to cooking pumpkins and butternut squash. Later when I returned to Finland I was glad to find out that all kinds of pumpkins were suddenly available in normal grocery stores. This one I bought from our local bi-weekly farmers' market.
