St Mary's Nantwich

Spent most of the day in or around Nantwich, a market town in Cheshire. The 14th century church in the centre of town has been called the "Cathedral of South Cheshire" according to wiki. So that almost makes the town into a city. Built of the local red sandstone it was renovated in the 19th century by Sir George Gilbert Scott. Tagged for Wide Wednesday hosted by Steveng. Extra shows the later showers gathering over the marina that is attached to the Shropshire Union canal just south of the town.
