Wasp Spider (female)

I’ve seen these in J&P’s garden before so I went out looking for their distinctive stripes and zigzag web strands. And look what I found! This one isn’t particularly large at only about 5-6cm but her partner is a tiny 1-2cm and just plain brown. I was delighted to get the bokeh as well.

We had a good journey home to Herts from Bergerac this afternoon and Tony’s final year at school starts tomorrow.
