Jimmy's Farm

Jimmy's Farm is a working rare breed pig farm near Ipswich owned and run by Jimmy Docherty. The Farm featured in a BBC TV series first aired in 2004. The series was followed up with a one-off special, Back on Jimmy's Farm, and a second series, Return to Jimmy's Farm. Docherty was a childhood friend of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver who gave him a loan to help get the Farm started, and appeared in one episode of the series. The Farm was awarded its Zoo Licence in 2016 which now enables exotic species to be kept. These species include exotic butterflies, delightful Meerkats, wallabies, Racoons, Dromedaries and Reindeer to name a few
(Thanks to Wikipedia for the info).

We spent a delightful afternoon at the Farm and after much walking and spending time with the animals we had tea and delicious cake in the Farm Restaurant and then a browse round the well stocked Farm Shop.

No peace for the wicked as we're out again this evening for yet more catching up with the clans!
