On Friday I went along to help plant trees on a parcel of rather marshy land that my friend Tom's parents have bought. They have carefully planned out mixed woodland consisting of 2500 trees, from about 30 native species.

Even Jen's boys came to lend a hand, although with the younger one this was exclusively destructive.
