Sometimes hats work exactly as you want. This one has been a real test of my creativity, and had me drawing on laws of physics.
I had a picture in my minds eye of what I wanted to achieve, but there were several failed attempts before I sewed the final stitches in this earlier today.

It’s made from silk from Vanners in Sudbury, and will be on display there as part of the Sudbury Silk Festival this Saturday, 7th September.

I’ve been wearing it to do the ironing, before I deliver it tomorrow, as I think it’s rather special.
