The Albert Hall

I have walked past this for the last five years and have never noticed the lettering above the door until today.

The Albert Hall was a concert hall in the late 19th century where, in the main, variety shows were performed. It subsequently became a cinema then a restaurant and after a period of lying empty it was then was turned into housing.
