We had planned to go up on to Kinder with Helen and Mike, but those plans were scuppered when Roy was rushed into hospital. 6 weeks on, and we decided to take it by surprise as there was a window of good weather, despite H& M being away climbing in the Dolomites... They are beginning to think they are jinxed when they plan a day on Kinder, as they have now had to cancel four times - 3 for awful weather when they were due to lead a village walk, and once with us. We hope we've broken the jinx for them now ;)
