No further today.

The River Teith in spate cut off our riverside walk this afternoon; it had flooded the walkway, and into part of the car park and across some of the meadow flood plain (behind me). This location is close to the source of the river - it rises a few hundred metres away at the confluence of two smaller rivers, which in turn are fed from Loch Venachar and Loch Lubnaig respectively.
I spotted a depth gauge nearby and later checked with SEPA figures; the level is down from Monday. It’s more common to see this flooding in winter than just now, in my opinion.
