Another day in...

By inukshukne

Elementary my dear...

A place of fascinating geology:
beautiful strata, dramatic faults evolving into stacks, overhanging blocks, zawns;
cloaked in a purple haze of short stemmed, devil's bit scabious;
inhabited by swallows flying round and alongside at knee height and fulmars lifting from the cliffs to ride the wave of the wind and check us out;
haunted by bonxies.
