the plant that keeps on giving. I have blipped this before and I had quite a few other flowers to choose today (honest) but the slight shower beforehand had left too many droplets. This plant completely fills and overflows the container which cannot be seen and has flowered since April. It doesn't need deadheading (phew) and on a dull day it just glows. It does not appear to attract bees or butterflies. I have a couple of wall baskets so next year will try and dig out a piece of root and see how it grows, it could look fantastic trailing down a dark grey wall. This is the second year so it does survive Winter.
This morning we cut down all dead stumps and couple of shrubs from a difficult sloping area, fortunately ground was dry otherwise it is lethal. Another trip to the tip next week.
