Very slow Swans

I take this route round Barnes pond when I have to go to Foots Cray and I leave at 6am to try and beat the traffics jams on the fourth circular. Occasionally there are swans and cygnets crossing to go to the pond but who knows where they’ve been. And they are incredibly slow, but who dares argue with a swan?
Tonight R’s parents arrived and Aunty Joy,
and we’re all going to Jake & Tom’s wedding tomorrow evening. As we’ve given up our bed and spare room, we’re staying at Matt & Lori’s for a few nights.
