No, it doesn't mean anything special, it's just a shadow on the carpet this morning.

It has been a bit cooler today, about 25c, in fact there was quite a cool breeze.  But the wind in the night was very noisy.  Terrible for all the fires that are still burning.

About 22 homes have been destroyed, and the devastation to people and animals is absolutely horrifying.

Alexandra and Peter had planned to go to the Alpaca farm at Canungra today.  But that is where the fires are at their worst.  Hopefully the animals have been rescued.

We haven't had as much smoke today, so at least around here they must have the fires under control.

Our Rural Firefighters are amazing as they are all volunteers.  We should all be very grateful to these people, who are risking their lives for all of us.
