Nederland, Texas

On our way to New Orleans today for labor day weekend. We stopped at this little town called Nederland (Dutch for Netherlands). Once settled by Dutch farmers who moved here because there was not enough farming land in the Netherlands.
There is a cute little windmill too that is open to the public. I liked this street sign with typical Dutch street names.
