Little grebe

I would have liked to post a photo of the young one the adult was feeding, but this was my best shot - they are just so small! It was a lovely day to visit Blackford Pond, with JH this time. We saw another adult and young little grebe, as on my last visit. Otherwise the swan family were all present and correct, still eight cygnets, some tufted ducks, a moorhen or two and the usual mallards and gulls.
