Upriver From the Campground, Tuolomne

It was a slow day in one of the most beautiful places I know. I'm getting adjusted to the altitude (8,500 feet), and the others went off on a strenuous hike. Too much climbing for me. I choose to sit by the river and draw, trying to get a handle on painting groups of similar green things. Not to mention moving water. There is a lot of aimless staring involved, and listening to the river roll over the stones. I could stay here for a long time. I did stay here for a long time.
