Freedom and Fresh Air

A bit of a rude awakening at twenty past four this morning when Bailey decided that he needed a very necessary trip out to the garden. I did manage to get back to sleep fairly quickly once we were back in and we were up at a much more reasonable time to head to the sea with the bestest friend. The extra (collage) shows the North Sea Observatory, inside and out, the Round and Round House and its view and the Cloud Bar at Anderby Creek.

We had a lovely day; it was windy, sunny on and off with noisy waves - just what was needed after the first week back at work. One of the best things was Bailey being able to have his freedom - hence the blip choice. He made a break for it twice (and was chased down by the bestest friend) but we thoroughly wore him out and he needed several carries from both of us on the final stretch. To be fair, I've done over 21 000 steps today so inhabiting the sofa in front of Strictly  was all that we were both fit for this evening.
