Dogs and the Homeless

The are lots of homeless people in Portland. The weather today is especially cruel--wet and cold. One thing I have not seen as much in other places is many of the homeless have dogs (and a few have cats). Hopefully, having a pet provides some comfort on a dreary winter day.
