Happy reunion

Today I went to see an old friend. We had not met since last summer and I have been missing her. Her name is Purdey and she lives at a small pony centre in west London where she spends her days looking after children. Sometimes I have the pleasure of riding her and today was one of those days, long overdue.

Purdey also has another, more glamorous, life. She is a film star! Recently she has appeared as a unicorn in the Wedding Video, directed by Nigel Cole of Calendar Girls fame. Needless to say she behaved impeccably! Unfortunately she was not quite as keen to pose for me when I interrupted her post exercise dinner...
