Smoke signals (Day 1586)

The morning woofer wander was a fair bit later than normal today, and the majority of the rest of the morning was spent doing very little.
With the weather looking very good, my beautiful wife and I took the dogs to Yesnaby for another wander before lunch. It seems that everyone else had the same idea and it was difficult to find a place to park the car. We wandered north along the cliffs and didn't see anyone else which was a bit of a surprise. On the way back we stopped to let the dogs have a swim around in the sea to cool down, and I liked the clouds over the distant headland.
We zoomed home for lunch, then out again to Stromness to get out a ride on the horses. Sadly George seemed a little lame and we cut the ride short. Mum and Dad met us at the field and Mum got out a short ride on Jeepers which she clearly enjoyed.
A grand day indeed, just a shame that HV has had to go back to work.
