Eye to Eye with a Bee

I sent my other half on his way to Winchester by train today. He starts the South Downs Way tomorrow.

I then spent the afternoon pottering round in the garden enjoying an afternoon of warm weather and lots of buzzing things! 

I think this a leaf-cutter bee. But there were bees and hovers of all kinds.

Still missing that four-legged furry creature who would sit in the garden with me sunning herself.
