First home in Oregon

We were reminiscing about our early days and when I said the first home I remember in Oregon when we moved from Washington, was still standing, our girls wanted to know where it was. Well, here it is at 2440 Everett St., North Bend. It has recently been painted this bright color. It pleases me to see it being taken care of. We moved there in 1936, so it was probably built in the early 1900's. The main thing I remembered was the hardwood floors and since I had hard souled shoes on, I remember running back and forth in an empty house and listening to the echo. We didn't live there long since my dad was going to build our home. When it was finished it was moving day again. Aww, the memories.
