A sloping exterior glass wall here of the many sided 11-story (185 feet or 56 meters high) glass and steel library in downtown Seattle, Washington was opened to the public on Sunday, May 23, 2004. Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Prince-Ramus of OMA/LMN were the principal architects and it has been rated as the 104th of 150 most favorite buildings by the American Architects.

I am kind of a traditionalist and prefer library buildings like the New York Main Library and in smaller communities all the ones that came through the Carnegies. HOWEVER for fun with angles and patterns this one offers lots of photo options! Particularly on a very grey day with no light coming through the skies above!
