A Meandering Life...

Mono Monday 294 :: MM294 :: Reflection

This week's MM continues where last week's left off, Matilda. This is her rear door handle reflecting the street and her modern stablemate.

I'm confident her carburettor is running as it should but on reflection things will not be 100% until I solve the exhaust manifold to exhaust connection. This won't be solved until the engine and gearbox rubber mounts are changed. They are nearing the end of their life.

At present the engine is not sitting as it should which puts strain on the joint. Escaping exhaust fumes is not good for the compression of the engine nor anyone else!

Matilda is booked into a Morris Minor specialist for the work to be done at the end of the month. It is not the main job to be done. More on that later but the image may give a clue as to what needs doing.
