daily observations

Silloth

We had a lovely walk around Silloth today. We also went in a cafe called Mrs Wilson’s. It was dedicated to Kathleen Ferrier who married a Silloth bank manager called Mr Wilson. She was a famous contralto singer in her day and our music teacher at school was fond of playing her recordings to us.
We also called at Maryport and St Bees so it was a busy day. I put a shot of Kathleen Ferrier in extras.
