Red Flash

Several people have asked for a selfie of the brighter hair so here you are.

What a day.

There was a call this morning from the lovely lady walking the boys. Willis had hurt his dew claw. So once they had returned we went to the vets. It could be worse but he is now wearing the cone of shame and I need to keep the wound clean with salty water. He’s going to love that.

The photo was taken while I was waiting to go in at the crematorium. One of my colleagues at the National Trust had passed away having fought cancer for many years. He was so lovely.

The handkerchief was used many times during the service as the tears flowed down the cheeks.

Still life goes on. It has to. One can’t wallow in the past.
