Old memories

Taken at the Cherwell boathouse Oxford. My Dad grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon having acquired the skill of handling a punt at a young age, I still remember trips on the river with the family in a punt. Then one time we went to hire a punt and Dad was told they only had rowing boats.... there wasn't much call for punts so they'd all been sold to Oxford. I imagine that's been put right now but I remember feeling resentment towards Oxford(wherever that was) at the time!
