Belted Galloways

The future of our neighbor's farm is in doubt.
All that is left are his prized Belted Galloway purebreds and he has sold all but 2 of the rare pigs that he was breeding. The issue is really that he cannot get anyone to manage the animals and as it's an organic farm with rare breeds of cattle, pigs, sheep and 2 magnificent horses in the Clydesdale family not just anyone will do to look after them.
Hopefully this will be resolved because we'd hate to see one of the last working farms shut down.
Maybe I could adopt the cows, but judging by the amount of hay they have been eating I think I'd be bankrupt in a couple of months.
We'll miss the pigs as they were a joy to watch and it's amazing what i've learned about them just observing and photographing them at different times of the year.
I'll keep you all posted on developments.
