For the future...

This afternoon I opened Scottish Water’s new Tullich Water Treatment works on the outskirts of Oban.

It is a big investment in the future of the area and to mark that the pupils of Rockfield Primary in the town selected items for a time capsule which was buried in the grounds after they and I and the other guests had toured the plant.

My extra photo shows the young people getting ready to seal the container . Once it was in the ground I got to shovel in the first bit of soil to start burying it.

As I would be 116 when it is dig up I don’t expect to see it again .
