Blacksmith in Milton, Nova Scotia

Early start to board the Saint John to the port of Digby Nova Scotia where most of the town was without electricity due to damage resulting from Hurricane Dorian.

Drove on and stopped briefly in Milton. An old logging town. By happenstance, stopped at a small museum where we met Joe Miller a blacksmith and docent. Joe provided an extensive history of the town, economy, and technology of the times.

The extra is a horse and carriage on the Main Street in Lunemburg,, Nova Scotia, a very quaint and beautiful town.
