I did it I did it!

I got out of the house today! All the way to the alley where I found a puddle that thawed and froze again with a bunch of stuff trapped in it. Including bubbles. And leaves. Oh I guess that is not very exciting.

My former neighbor from Austin called and chatted. The first thing he said was: I'm on my deck, in the sunshine, with bare feet to which I replied simply: I hate you. Which I don't really, of course. He just thinks it's very funny when I say that.

What isn't funny is how our home football team was creamed by their arch enemy tonight. They suck. Not the enemy, our team. Lots of tears in the beers out there tonight, I think. It's just a game for crying out loud. Cheer up.
