Reflections

Another bright, sunny morning and I was pleased to spot the hybrid wild cat who jumped over the fence and wandered across the field.
The car was in need of a wash after yesterday’s adventures so off to the Jet wash we went, via Cromarty.
It was lovely and warm so we went for a walk and sat outside the Slaughter House drinking coffee and eating Sour Dough toast with homemade plum jam.It was very busy . ( Couper Creek has now closed down ) .
Lots of boats of all sizes on the water, people swimming and dogs chasing about catching balls again and again , they never seem to tire of the same game.
On to the jet wash and I had a wander round. The Michaelmas daisies were out and covered in hoverflies, bees and peacock butterflies. I was surprised to see a few poppies out.
Back home to do some gardening.Yvonne popped round to say that she was back from Guide Camp. The weather had been perfect and sounds like they had a great time especially making Chocolate and wax wraps , all very messy !
You can see the little ferry we took yesterday in the extras.
Had the first plums from the garden and also saw three Roe deer at the bottom of the hill.
