Pearl Wedding Anniversary

It was our 30th wedding anniversary today and we were really happy when we realised we would be celebrating it in Arillas. We had planned just to do our favourite holiday activities but they had to wait until after a very loud thunderstorm and torrential rain. We walked through a part of the village we haven't been before and saw loads of produce being grown in a field and poly tunnel which would have all benefited from the rain.

Our favourite cafe was still a bit waterlogged so it was our second favourite for lunch! As the sun had come out it was then a day on the beach followed by a meal in our favourite restaurant. The evening finished with cocktails in a lovely bar we have discovered on this visit.

We have had our share of ups and downs over 30 years but are now looking forward to the next 30! Within five months both our children are embarking on their own marriage adventures so this holiday as been great to recharge our batteries for what is to come...
