Our 3 1/2 day annual PeaceHealth Hospice volunteers retreat began today.
Talking with old friends, and making new friends, is certainly a special treat for us.
The beautifully rustic St. Benedict's Monastery in the village of McKenzie Bridge, Oregon is perfect for the gathering.
The cool, gentle rain falling today makes summer and the rest of the world seem very far removed from us here nestled on the western side of the Cascades mountains.
