Butterfly beauty

Off to Christchurch to look at the health food store and have a wander. May add more later.

This butterfly image is a Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae) according to my research

Update 4:30 pm: took bus to Christchurch (mainly to look for my two favourite vegan cheeses and butter, didn’t have the cheese and the only Naturli butter on display had a sell by date of 27th of August!. Had coffee at the Italian deli then walked down to the Quay and along the River Stour, up to the Riverside Pub (you guessed / for an Aspall). Lovely afternoon and milder than yesterday.
