Through the porthole or under the pier

This morning we picked E and B up and took them to Clevedon . We went on to the pier as we had put a plaque on for their Golden Wedding Anniversary - we also took the opportunity to polish our and it now looks nice and shiny.  Before we walked to the end of the pier we went into a room they call the porthole.  It was dull and the tide was out but this is a different view of the pier from underneath.  My extra is of the flag that was blowing gently in the wind straight out and never dropped.  It was windy and we sat and chatted for a while and then went into the museum.  We had been there before but E and B had not and they were impressed.  Then on to Portishead and we had lunch at the Windmill looking out at Bristol channel.  Home and a glass of wine and cheesecake that we bought for the occasion.
A good day but a cool windy start
