Calm

We all had the dentist first thing, two little fillings for me , it was not too bad but would rather be doing something else.
I went first so I was free afterwards.Went to the bank and then for a walk next to the River Peffery .Was delighted to catch a glimpse of the Kingfisher and then spotted a very speedy stoat.
Further on I had to walk through clouds of midges, unusual for us to get them over here, not too bad as long as you keep moving. If you look closely at the extras you might be able to see them.
Chatted to a lady who was sitting on a bench at Ferry Point. She had a crazy 11 year old Springer spaniel who was enjoying having a great swim. She had moved up from St Albans around 11 years ago so we discussed the changes down there.
Had a wander round, lots of red shanks and an Osprey on a stick .
On to Brownies, outside looking at the Environment and completing two Skill Builders.Had to adapt them a bit as a lot seemed pointless and missed the point of the whole task.A very kind metal detector user agreed to chat to the girls about how the metal detector worked and told us about the things he had found including a platinum diamond ring on Dornoch Beach.
We also went to the Beach Cafe and found out all about the changes they have made to make it more Eco friendly , they’ve done a lot .It started to rain about 15 minutes before the end of the second session.
