The thinking bench.

A fairly quiet morning. We went for a walk but the rain came before we got to the wee loch, so we turned back.

In the afternoon we’d a walk around town and along the beach with friends.

The plaque on this bench on the popular beach path caught my eye again.

It periodically has a wee #ProjectTAG tag attached to it; the little tag has a form of words on it letting people know they’re not alone, and providing simple supportive messages for people feeling suicidal or struggling with poor mental health. The tag also advises of phone numbers for NHS24, Samaritans, Breathing Space, Childline and of the #Project TAG Facebook group - a support group, who don’t want folks struggling in silence.
