In Amongst The Brambles

With only 2 weeks of the official butterfly season left, I only saw Speckled Woods on my survey site today.  Still loads of Small Tortoiseshells in our garden though.  The results of the Big Butterfly Count appear to imply that the Small Tortoiseshells have moved further north this year due to climate change which is probably why we have seen many more in our garden than usual.
