This goldenrod is an uninvited visitor that has taken up residence in a shady corner of the garden. Margaret likes it and it does make a splash of colour in a dark corner...

We went off to Scotsdales Garden Centre this morning to get a few bits and have lunch and this afternoon stayed in for the boiler service man. We were contacted first thing in the morning to say he would attend between 2pm - 4pm, he arrived on the stroke of 4pm.
